1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using the HMKVerify portal, APIs, or verification services, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, you must not use our platform.

2. Permitted Use & NDPR Compliance

HMKVerify provides identity lookup tools (including NIN, BVN, Phone Lookup, and Demographic validation) strictly for lawful KYC, compliance, and verification purposes. You represent and warrant that:

• You have obtained explicit consent from the data subject prior to initiating any verification lookup.
• You will not use verified identity data for unauthorized profiling, fraudulent impersonation, or illegal activities.
• All requests strictly adhere to the Nigeria Data Protection Regulation (NDPR) and applicable data protection laws.

3. Wallet Credits & Service Fees

Verifications operate on a prepaid wallet credit system. Service fees are non-refundable once a lookup transaction has been transmitted to official data gateways. HMKVerify reserves the right to adjust service query prices with prior notice in accordance with upstream provider adjustments.

4. Account Security

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and API tokens. HMKVerify is not liable for unauthorized transactions executed through compromised account credentials.

5. Limitation of Liability

HMKVerify interfaces with licensed third-party database gateways. While we maintain 99.9% platform availability, we are not liable for temporary upstream registry downtime or incorrect record entries provided by government data authorities.
